And what a start to a New Year!

haha instead of going to a gathering held by my brother’s friend, I decided to stay at home for the night. I think this is the first time in many years that I’ve not watched the New Year’s celebration.

Yes, I stayed at home. I’m not sure if this is even more saddening but I watched Armageddon. Haha I guess the only consolation is that Liv Tyler’s pretty sweet in that film.

Anyway I’m not sure if this has anything to do with weird dream later that night, but there were two sections to the dream I clearly remembered. The first part was seeing the girl I fancied for the past 6 years moving in with her boyfriend. It was kinda voyeur-ed, for what I was looking at was kinda like a fish-eye image; a full and complete image of the place they were moving in together. They were discussing about their furniture, what goes where, and what else they should get for their place.

Then, I’m not sure how it got to this, but I was with her in my grandmother’s shophouse, and she was extremely upset, all teary eyed and sobbing. Stating how her boyfriend has no patience with her, always correcting her abruptly making her embarrassed in front of her friends. I then proceeded to give her a big hug while she continued sobbing.

I was so happy cause that was the moment I was waiting for. All. My. Life. That crack in what must be a perfect relationship.

In a dash of colors and what not, a lady personnel of the army told me it was the end of the world. She was blond, she had alot of badges on her navy blue uniform, and she came through a door of bright white light. I asked her how the fuck is it the end of the world. And get this, it was a combination of 4 scenarios:

1) Missing Nuke from the army

2) Fire Sale ( from Die Hard 4, hmm, I think I see something in common here), but somehow it was called firestorm in my dream.

3) Shape shifting aliens attacking: I was in a dying forest. It was grey, the trees were dying, the sky way bright and sunny, but I could never see ahead of the trees around me. Suddenly an alien would jump infront of me and then started chasing me. It jumped and somehow transformed itself while attaching itself as a branch to a dead tree infront of me. And these aliens were not your typical bug eyed, oval face, long pointy fingers alien which you commonly see on tele. They had red glowing eyes and facial features of a human, but they were purple-grey-ish. They didn’t have limbs but they were a blob and they moved ever so quickly and jumped ever so highly.

4) Nuclear Fallout. It kinda explains itself.

Despite the level of detail I got with the end of the world in my dreams, I could not emphasize enough, that the part with the girl I fancied, the voyeurism up till the part I was talking to her while she was sobbing. It was life like. It was real. I swear I was happy.  Happier than I had ever been in my life. I could detail the conversation we had because I remembered it as if it happened, as if I actually did experience it.Even though I’ve not seen her in quite sometime, nor have I seen her when she’s upset.

Hugging her and beyond was clearly a realistic dream, but those could not clearly pass as an actual memory. In fact those parts seem to be fading away from my mind.

Clearly I’m still fine. I’m still here, and I have perfect knowledge of what was real and what wasn’t. But just surprised more than anything about the weirdest dream I had to date.
